No feet...

Yikes....as I stood in the shower this morning I realized that I can no longer see my feet! My belly is getting big! I also noticed that my scale did go above 150 here at home (...deep breath ... lol) which this did not happen until I was about 26 weeks along with little Miss Violet. I will obviously gain more with a twin pregnancy - and as long as most of that weight continues to file on my tummy well then I am happy :-)

Tuesday will mark the 20 week point in my pregnancy and we are scheduled for our big ultrasound on Wednesday. L&J are flying up Wednesday morning to come along for the appointment. It will be great to see them again and we are all excited to see what is hiding! Olivia's projection is a boy and a blue alien ... Sebastian is sure that it is either a boy and a girl, two boys or two girls ... LOL - I am thinking one of his projections is correct!

18 weeks...

18 weeks and I continue to feel really good. I long to feel the babies more frequently and have to remind myself that most women just now beginning to feel movement. I feel them a little bit here and there but it will be so nice when it is consistent. Rio made a good point too that since I have two placentas that is absorbing some of the movement and limiting what I can feel at this point.

We are spending spring break in Wisconsin to visit Rio and to do some house hunting. I looked at a few good contenders today ... but still so much to see! It is awesome to see Rio again and the kids are just enjoying being with dad so much. When we flew in to Minneapolis yesterday, we went to the Mall of America to go to the Rain Forrest Cafe for lunch....and off course we had to check out some of all the fun there. Olivia and Sebastian went for a roller coaster ride and Magnus went on an awesome climbing track. We are going back to spend Tuesday before we fly home there - gotta catch some more fun!

I think this will be the last big trip for the duration of this pregnancy. I am sure we will have plenty of small trips here and there .. but no big ones. I am getting tired out more easily and a whole day traveling was a bit uncomfortable. I am also feeling bigger than I have been with my other pregnancies which is to be expected as it is twins. Our 1/2 way ultrasound is just a few weeks away and L&J are flying up for it. It will be so great to see them again and so exciting to find out what they are having!

From what I am reading, most twin pregnancies deliver somewhere around the 36 week mark..if that is truly the case, then I am about 1/2 way through at this point. My hope is of course that the pregnancy will last at least through the 38 week point to give these little ones a good long time to gestate and grow big and healthy.
